Early morning Sunday lesson with Will. Today worked on posture and creating more space and width in the takeaway. Will had an impulse to snatch the club inside creating a need to reroute the club and coming over the top. We also worked on moving the focus to an external focus of speed out front at 7:30 versus at the ball. That automatically created a full flowing release and a tight baby draw that Will said he has never had before. I tell all my students that my goal is to get you playing golf asap. I’m not here to drain your pockets with crazy lesson package plans. It might take 2 lessons or 4 lessons but my goal is to get you so comfortable that you can become your own best coach.
