Why Shouldn’t You “Swing Easy” in the Golf Swing? [MYTH BUSTED!]

Tips
Why You SHOULDN’T “Swing Easy” in the Golf Swing. Golfers are taught to swing easy in the golf swing because it will lead to clean contact. Sure, the pros look like they swing easy in their golf swings BUT they are still hitting it hard. Swinging the golf club “easy” is hurting your golf swing speed and distance! Learn how you can gain 20+ Yards and a TON more golf swing speed just by changing the way you think about hitting the golf ball. Find out how I gained over 20 yards and 10 MPH of clubhead speed just by doing this simple golf tip – launch monitor results included.

A lot of golfers are taught to “swing easy” in the golf swing in order to have a cleaner and pure strike. This type of mindset has the right intention but often produces a fluid golf swing that generates a lack of power. You can have the best looking swing in the world but if you don’t ACCELERATE or INTEND TO HIT IT HARD, you will always struggle with a lack of distance.

I’ve seen a ton of “easy” golf club swingers on the lesson tee. They ALWAYS ask me to give them MORE DISTANCE. Oftentimes, they think that the distance problem is the result of some swing flaw they have. While that can be true, the main problem lies in the issue of “swinging easy” vs “SWINGING HARD” with the WRATH OF GOD.

If you “swing easy” in the golf swing you don’t accelerate – then you lose clubhead speed and consequently, lose distance. It’s really simple. You’ve got to change your mindset on how you hit the ball. When you hit something, you’ve got to GIVE IT ALL YOU GOT. It’s not about tempo, it’s about acceleration and energy. The best golfers in the world have smooth looking swings, but they SWING HARD. The club isn’t going to swing itself – you’ve got to swing the club!
