Masters 2020: These photos tell the story of Sunday at Augusta National

News

The 84th Masters hasn’t disappointed as the tournament heads into the weekend. After a marathon two days at Augusta National, a packed leader board heading into Saturday’s third round included for the first time in major championship history the No. 1, 2 and 3 ranked players in the world tied for first place. How Dustin Johnson, Jon Rahm and Justin Thomas will fare over the final 36 holes is unclear, but having them in contention, along with the likes of Patrick Reed, Patrick Cantlay, Justin Rose, Webb Simpson, Brooks Koepka, Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods, should ensure that this one-of-a-kind November edition of the tournament will be remembered for the play on the course as much as surreal circumstances surrounding it. Here to chronicle it all are Golf Digest photographers JD Cuban and Ben Walton, who offer up their favorite images from the final two days of competition. —Ryan Herrington
