Here’s the final FedEx Cup prize money payout for each golfer at the 2020 Tour Championship

News

Technically speaking, there is no tournament prize money payout at this week’s Tour Championship. Rather, the financial rewards that will be decided after 72 holes at East Lake Golf Club come from the bonus pool given to players for their finish in the final FedEx Cup standings. It’s why no player’s career PGA Tour earnings will increase as a result of anything that goes on this week in Atlanta.

That said, we’re really just talking semantics. With the format change initiated last year, which marries the finish at the Tour Championship with the finish in the final FedEx Cup standings, that bonus money amounts to a tournament purse. And that purse is rather large.

The players in the 30-man field this week are competing for $46 million of the overall $60 million available in FedEx Cup bonus money, with the winner on Monday earning $15 million.

Here is the prize money payout for each golfer in the final FedEx Cup standings after the conclusion of the Tour Championship. As with regular PGA Tour events, money is split equally among players if there are ties for different places in this last event of the surreal 2019-’20 PGA Tour season. We’ll update this list shortly after Monday’s finish to include individual names with their earnings.
