Even though Lululemon isn’t a golf-specific brand, the company’s comfortable, performance-ready clothes are gaining a ton of popularity with golfers. That trend will continue with a new pair of women’s golf pants released by Lululemon. The men’s Lululemon ABC Pant ($128) has become an essential in many golfers’ wardrobes for its sweat-pant-like comfort with an upscale, trouser look. On the ladies’ side, the leggings are popular at courses that allow them, and the Pace Rival Skirt ($68) is a fan favorite, but there has yet to be a women’s version of the popular ABC Pant—until now. Lululemon recently released a five-pocket pant for women that golfers will love. Here’s a look at the new City Sleek 5 Pocket Pant ($128) and a few others that are great for golf.
The City Sleek 5 Pocket Pant ($128) fits like your favorite broken-in pair of jeans with a ton of stretch and a high-rise fit. The ⅞ length falls stylishly at the ankle to show off your favorite pair of golf shoes—without the need for hemming. These golf-ready pants come in black, navy and an extra fun color the brand calls “Spiced Bronze.” The mustard-y color is just begging to be worn at fall golf events. These trousers are the closest thing we’ve found to a women’s version of the ABC Pant with its fly-front, two back pockets and extra-refined finishing.
Also new to the women’s pant lineup at Lululemon are the Keep Moving Pant 7/8 High-Rise ($118). With a slightly looser fit, these pants are best suited for casual rounds or require paring with a dressier fitted golf shirt. The ultra-soft fabric is breathable, sweat-wicking and has an athletic stretch to it that’s optimized for shape retention. Available in a variety of colors, we love the maroon, navy or gray looks for golf.
Part of the brand’s commuter collection, the Here to There High-Rise 7/8 Pant ($128) feel like leggings but can easily be worn to the office or golf course without worry. Designed to stay wrinkle-free all day, these sweat-wicking pants have a hidden back pocket and a cozy high-rise waist.
The On the Fly Jogger 28″ Woven ($118) were among some of the first women’s pants from Lululemon worn for golf because of the comfortable, relaxed fit and no-wrinkle fabric that always looks great. It’s a versatile pair of pants that are optimal for when you’re traveling to a course and might not be able to change clothes before you tee off.
Newer to the OTF collection are the On the Fly Crop 23″ ($88). These come in a bold red color that will really pop on the course. If red isn’t your shade, they also come in black, navy, green and a heathered white option. The mid-rise pants have two roomy side pockets and a stylish drawstring closure that can be worn with a shirt tucked or untucked.
Another great pair to try are the Wanderer Crop 23″ ($88). These ultra-lightweight cropped pants are airy and relaxed for a comfortable all-day wear. With hidden side pockets and a stylish cinched waist, these will certainly become a go-to pair.
