Here’s the prize money payout for each golfer at the 2020 Wyndham Championship

News

If there’s any tournament on the PGA Tour calendar where the prize money payout takes a back seat, it’s the Wyndham Championship. Being the last regular-season event on the schedule, players aren’t so much concerned about picking pick up an extra grand or two coming down the stretch on Sunday at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. Instead, they’re thinking about grabbing an extra dozen FedEx Cup points in order to creep just a little higher on the standings.

Getting inside the top 125 is the primary aim—something third-round leader Si Woo Kim had already (barely) accomplished, sitting 121st entering the week. But Rob Oppenheim (T-2, two strokes back) started the week No. 145, and Jim Herman (T-5, four back) began at No. 192. Strong finishes from either can change both players immediate futures considerably.

Of course, making a little money is a nice bonus, too. The overall purse at the Wyndham is $6.4 million with the winner taking home $1.152 million. Here’s the breakdown for the prize money payout for each golfer in the event. We’ll update the list shortly after the tournament with individual players names and how much they earned.
