Highlights
Bushfire victims vented their anger on Australia’s prime minister when he visited the town of Cobargo on Thursday. Bushfires tore through the region on Monday night, killing a father and son. Residents complained that government assistance was lacking, and one asked: ‘What about the people who are dead now, Mr Prime Minister? What about the people who have nowhere to live?’
